Opening hours

 
Restaurant:
Thursday to Monday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Gartenzimmer and terrace:
Daily, 07:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m.

Annual holidays:
The restaurant will be closed from January 27th to February 5th and July 14th to 30th 2025. The boutique hotel and the restaurant Gartenzimmer are open all year round.

Getting here

Driving

Take the Buchs SG motorway exit and follow the signs to the centre. This will lead you directly onto Bahnhofstrasse, which you will drive down in its entirety. At the end of the 20 km/h traffic-calmed zone, keep right onto St. Gallerstrasse. In 100 metres, you will find Gasthaus Traube on the left.

Coming from Toggenburg, follow the main road via Gams, Grabs to Buchs until you pass the idyllic waters of the Lake Werdenberg. From here, drive another 500 metres on St. Gallerstrasse, until you find Gasthaus Traube on the right-hand side.

Free parking and four charging stations for electric cars are available at the Gasthaus.

Via public transport

There’s no better way. Enjoy a lovely bottle of champagne or wine with us and be driven home comfortably and safely via public transport. Gasthaus Traube is located along the Buchs–Nesslau bus line. It’s only one stop to the town hall, Buchs Rathaus, from Buchs SG railway station. From there, you just need to walk another 80 metres in the same direction of travel.

Coming from Toggenburg, alight the bus at the EW Buchs stop and walk 200 metres in the direction from which the bus came.
