Café & Bistro Gartenzimmer

The Gartenzimmer is many things: a bistro, a retreat, a meeting place. The perfect spot for your first coffee, a light lunch, or an early evening aperitif.

There are places you walk into and immediately know: I want to stay here. The Gartenzimmer is one of those places. A café, a bistro, a meeting place – and a little piece of the south right in the heart of the eastern part of the city.

In the morning, you come for breakfast, stay for coffee, and bump into someone you haven't seen in ages. At lunchtime, we serve Mediterranean bistro fare: vegetables take center stage, the dishes are seasonal and fresh – leaving you feeling light, not heavy. Meat lovers will also find something to their liking. No ideological cooking here, just honest, inquisitive, and creative everyday cuisine with character.

The Gartenzimmer has no dress code and welcomes all kinds of people. You come here to work, to wait, to talk and laugh, to simply be. Alone or as a couple, with a child or a dog, as a hotel guest or a neighbor from across the street. Everyone is welcome.

Breakfast served daily until 10:30 a.m. Patisserie & snacks all day. Bistro cuisine daily from 12 pm to 5 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 9 pm.

TRUUBA BRUNCH

Once a month, usually on the first Sunday, the Gartenzimmer transforms into a delightful oasis: At the Truuba Brunch, you can expect an extensive breakfast experience with fresh breads, a diverse buffet, and egg dishes prepared to order. Whether you prefer savory or sweet, there's something for everyone. Our sommelier curates a selection of exquisite wines to complement your meal.
